As the evening wind breezes,
I walk down a crowded road.
The light flashes and horn blazes
I seek my humble abode.

The trees that remain gently bow
As i walk the black carpet.
On my sight, familiar faces glow
And they bid me after a moment.

Not towering structures but suffice
Lined all along the road’s length.
With people having not a hint of malice
And appearances defying their strength.

Mind grows light, heart at peace
As i enter my happy little world.
Tiring thoughts all day long cease
Up into my family’s tight hold.

Life as such becomes simple
Why care if the earth is round?
My mouth grows wide with a dimple
I am forever home bound.
