Persofest Report

Personality Development Association (PDA) is an interdisciplinary Forum in MIT. It provides platform to the students who aspire to be different in the society by discovering themselves . The association aims to develop individual skills of students and make them face the global competitive environment. PDA conducts the symposium PERSOFEST every year.

This year too, Persofest 2018 was held magnificently and with much more enthusiasm. Persofest 2018 was held for three days ; i.e) from March 2, 2018 to March 4, 2018. Various events were held in these three days and prizes were given to the winners. Before the commencement of the fest, the title event of Persofest, Mr. Persofest & Ms. Persofest and Sketchathon were held.



Day 1 – March 2, 2018 :

In the first day of Persofest 2018, the preliminary rounds of the events Spell Bee, Cinema Quiz and Literary Hunt were held. These events saw the participation of many students.



Day 2 – March 3, 2018 :

Day two saw the commencement of many events which were aimed at development of the personality of the students. The round 2 of Spell bee and Cinema Quiz were held along with other events like PersoAps, Soap Carving, Davinci Touch, Collage, Admin writing, Creative writing, Block & tackle, Dejavu, Face Art and JAM.



Day 3- March 4, 2018:

Events like Karutharangam, Idea Presentation, Business Plan, Miming, Kakuro, Sudoku and the final round of Literary Hunt were held. Finally the Valedictory function was held. The chief guest of the valedictory function was our passed out senior, Nagendhiran. PDA’s staff in charge Dr G. Kavitha also graced the ocassion. The official magazine of PDA, PERSOPLUS was unveiled by the chief guest.


The winners of Mr. & Ms.Persofest , Sketchathon and other events were announced. Sharada Prasad from 2nd year ECE and Jayashree from 1st year CT were the title winners of Mr. & Ms. Persofest and Malarvizhi from 1st year ECE was the winner of Sketchathon. All the drawings and sketches drawn by the students during Persofest were displayed near RLHC. In all, the event was a grand success.
